The new intelligent throat swab sampling robot system consists of a snake-shaped mechanical arm, binocular endoscope, wireless transmission equipment and human-computer interaction terminal. The robotic system was formally applied to test subjects in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University on February 28. The first phase of clinical trials with 20 subjects has been carried out, et 80 samples have been collected. Cytological test results show that robotic throat swab sampling can achieve high quality, with a one-time success rate of greater than 95%, effective sampling and uniform sampling intensity, and no adverse reactions such as redness, swelling and bleeding in the throat of the subjects.
