Cervical Flocked Swab Specimen Collection Protocol

収集

To collect adequate cells specimen using cervical flocked swab. ご希望に応じて, ぬるま湯を使用して検鏡を温め、潤滑します。. 必要に応じて、検鏡の後部ブレードに少量の水溶性ゲル潤滑剤を使用できます。. Insert the flocked swab into the endocervical canal deep enough to allow the nylon microfibers to rotate in a clockwise direction five times.

Rinse

回収後 ,immerse the swabs immediately into the Cell preservation solution vial by rinsing the Flocked Tips vigorously into the bottom of the vial 10 times to further fully release the cells. Break at the molded point and discard the handle.

締める

Fully immersed the flocked tip into the vial and closely tighten the cap

Record

Record the patient’s name and ID number on the label and paste it on the vial. Filled the patient information and medical history on the cytology requisition form

Place

Place the vial and requisition in a specimen bag for transport to the laboratory.
