Step-by-Step Instructions for Using the VTM Kit

1. Collecte de l'échantillon

• Use a sterile swab to collect your sample as specified in the instructions.

2. Placing the Swab in the Sampling Tube

• Insert the swab containing the sample into the sampling tube carefully.

3. Breaking the Swab

• Locate the designated break-off point on the swab rod.
• Snap the swab at this point and discard the tail of the rod.

4. Securing the Sampling Tube

• Ensure that the cover of the sampling tube is tightly sealed to prevent leaks.

5. Labeling the Tube

• Clearly mark any required information on the label of the sampling tube, such as date and sample type.

6. Transporting the Samples

• Room Temperature Storage: Samples should be transported to the corresponding laboratory within 3 pour 7 jours, conservé à température ambiante.
• Long-term Storage: If the samples cannot be sent within 7 jours, store them at -80°C or below. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to maintain sample quality.

• Maintain contact with the palatine for a moment, then slowly turn the swab and withdraw it from the nose.
• Quickly dip the swab head into the preserving fluid.
• Break the swab at the preset break-off point and discard the tail.
