How to Collect an Oral Tongue Coating Sample
Etapa 1: Preparação
- Collect the sample in the morning before brushing teeth
- Wash hands thoroughly before sampling
- Evite comer, bebendo, or rinsing your mouth before collection
Proper preparation helps ensure accurate and uncontaminated results.
Etapa 2: Coleta de amostras
Gently rub the swab back and forth across the surface of the tongue for approximately 10 segundos.
⚠️ Important: Avoid touching teeth or applying excessive pressure.

Insert the swab into the collection tube containing preservation solution.
